We had recommended to subscribe to InterGlobe Aviation IPO here Indigo IPO – Can You Fly High?.
There was a lot of negativity around the dividend stripping issue and aircraft trading business of Indigo; the retail portion was not even fully subscribed in the IPO. Yet, the stock has listed at 15% premium to its issue price of Rs. 765 indicating that investors could have reposed confidence in the strong business fundamentals and past track record of the company.
Short term investors could book profits while long term investors may continue to remain invested considering the sound long term prospects of the company.
